Innovative Institutional IDEAS SARL signed an Exclusive License Agreement with the Research Foundation for the State University of New York, a non-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of New York, United States of America on May 1st, 2015.
This Exclusive License Agreement grants to I2-IDEAS the exclusive right to use and modify certain works (“Works”) created by the University at Albany, State University of New York, in order to maintain and further develop the Works and make them widely available. The Works constitute computer applications that are embodied in certain copyrighted computer programs, user guides and other works. The Works were originally created to enable Lebanese governmental institutions: to become more effective, democratic, and responsive; to modernize and re-engineer work processes; to standardize, automate and institutionalize financial and administrative procedures; to increase municipal revenues through tax and fees laws; and to broaden citizen access to government.
The Exclusive License Agreement grants to I2-IDEAS the exclusive right to use, modify, maintain and upgrade the Works in countries in Which Arabic is the official language, except for countries embargoed or sanctioned under export control laws or regulations of the United States.
