The system is developed in relation to Personnel and Payroll system as part of the continuous improvement process. The system serves mainly the Health Department, where the medical assistance processes for the qualified beneficiaries including employees, former employees, and their dependents. The Health Benefit System (HBS) focuses on the management of the reimbursement process, and introduces a level of standardization, automation, and internal controls to minimize errors and reduces the possibility for abuse of coverage.
