This automated system is a necessary tool to assist municipal tax collectors in performing their jobs. The FeePay application allows municipal employees to download the taxpayers’ information that needs to be collected from the municipal central database to a tablet or a laptop computer. The municipal employee will then use the FeePay application to calculate the amount of the fees due for late payment. Once the payment is made the receipt number will be entered into the system, and the FeePay will then synchronize the information to the central database.
